What is Mega Bounce at Braintree Village?
Mega Bounce at Braintree Village is the exclusive UK debut of the world’s biggest bounce house. It is a giant inflatable play experience covering approximately 2,500 square metres, with walls over 8 metres high.
Inside the attraction, visitors can bounce, slide, climb, race, explore and play through a colourful inflatable world filled with giant characters, sports zones, obstacle challenges and photo moments.
Mega Bounce will sit at the heart of a summer arena at Braintree Village, with music, food, drink, family games, live action on the mega screen and special weekly foam party sessions with live DJs.

Mega Bounce will take place at Braintree Village, Essex, inside the event arena.
What time is Mega Bounce open?
Mega Bounce will open from 10am – 9pm every day with guests able to enjoy unlimited access to Mega Bounce during their 60-minute slot. The daily sessions are:

Quiet sessions from 10am-11am, offering all the bounce and none of the noise. These lower-capacity sessions are capped at 100 guests and run without music or announcements. Ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed environment.

All ages sessions (children must be aged 5+) from 11am – 7pm every day, showcasing party music, lighting effects and videoclips on the giant screen, plus festival-style food & drinks, and entertainment zones open all day.

Adults only sessions (guests aged 16+), from 7pm – 9pm, with DJs taking to the stage Thursdays to Sundays for interactive karaoke, plus a full bar, late-night food and festival vibes.

Selected Saturday sessions will see Mega Bounce’s surrounding arena reimagined as a high-energy foam party, with a dedicated 7 – 8pm adults only slot combining DJs, karaoke and immersive foam effects for a standout festival experience.
How much are tickets?
General admission tickets are priced at £18 each, or £15 each for group bookings of more than 6 people. A booking fee is payable per ticket.
Tickets for spectators are priced at £3 each which permits entry into the entertainment space but not access to the inflatable Mega Bounce playhouse.
Children must be aged 5 years and 1 metre tall to participate, under 4s can spectate for free.
Do I need a ticket for Mega Bounce?
Yes. Anyone taking part in Mega Bounce will need a valid ticket. Tickets will give each participant one hour of unlimited access to Mega Bounce during their booked session.
How long is the Mega Bounce experience?
Each ticket gives you one hour of unlimited access to Mega Bounce. During your session, you can bounce, slide, climb, race, explore and enjoy the different zones as much as you like within your booked time.
2. Age, Height and Access
Who can take part?
Mega Bounce is suitable for visitors aged 5 and over, subject to the minimum height requirement.
Is there a minimum height?
Yes. All participants must be at least 1 metre tall. This is for safety and to ensure participants can enjoy the inflatable properly.
Can adults take part?
Yes. Mega Bounce is designed for children, families, teens and adults.
Will there be adult sessions?
Yes. Mega Bounce will include both family sessions and selected adult style sessions. See booking site for further information.
Do children need to be accompanied by an adult?
Yes. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Children using Mega Bounce must meet the age and height requirements. Adults accompanying children into the event require either a general admission ticket if joining the child on the Mega Bounce, or a spectators ticket if accessing the arena only.
Can spectators watch for free?
Tickets for spectators are priced at £3 each which permits entry into the entertainment space but not access to the inflatable Mega Bounce playhouse.
3. Sessions and Capacity
Are sessions timed?
Yes. Mega Bounce tickets are valid for a specific one hour session. Visitors should arrive early so they have time to check in, collect their wristband, store belongings and get ready before the session begins.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, you may miss part or all of your session. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed extra time, as sessions are capacity controlled.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your booked session. This gives enough time to enter the arena, check in, use the cloakroom, collect your wristband and get ready.
4. Event Arena
What else is happening in the arena?
The wider Braintree Village arena is designed as a relaxed summer festival space for families. Additional games and activities include outdoor games like Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4, a chalk graffiti board, music throughout the day including occasional live DJ sets, entertainment on the mega screen, purchasable food and drink, seating and social areas, and family friendly activities.
Is there always music playing?
Yes. The arena will have music playing throughout the day. There will also be live action, entertainment and event content shown on the mega screen, helping to create a lively summer atmosphere.
What is the mega screen used for?
The mega screen will be used for live action, entertainment, event content and selected programming throughout the day. It is designed to keep the arena feeling active and give families more reasons to stay before and after their Mega Bounce session.
Are the giant games free?
Yes. Planned family activities such as giant Jenga, giant Connect 4 and the chalk graffiti board will be free to use within the arena. Availability may vary depending on weather, crowd levels and event programming.
5. What To Wear and Bring
What should I wear on Mega Bounce?
Wear activewear or light, stretchy clothes. Shorts, leggings, tracksuits, t-shirts and gym style clothing are ideal. Jeans, button up shirts or restrictive clothing are not recommended.
Can I wear shoes on Mega Bounce?
No. Shoes are not allowed on the inflatable. Participants must go on Mega Bounce barefoot or in socks only.
Should I bring spare clothes?
We recommend spare clothing, especially if you are attending a foam party session or if rain is forecast. Mega Bounce is an outdoor experience, so dress for the weather.
Can I wear jewellery?
Jewellery should be removed where possible before taking part. Sharp items, loose accessories and anything that could catch, scratch the inflatable or cause injury should not be worn.
Can I wear glasses?
Glasses can be worn at your own risk, but they may fall off during bouncing or sliding. Sports straps are recommended where possible.
6. Belongings and Cloakroom
Is there somewhere to store my belongings?
Yes. A secure cloakroom will be available onsite. Visitors are encouraged to store bags, valuables, shoes and loose items before taking part.
Can I take my phone onto Mega Bounce?
Phones should not be used while bouncing, sliding or taking part in physical activity. Loose items can be lost, damaged or cause injury. Staff may ask you to store your phone or keep it safely secured.
7. Health and Safety
Is Mega Bounce physically demanding?
Mega Bounce is fun, energetic and active. You can enjoy the experience at your own pace, but it does involve bouncing, climbing, sliding, crawling, running and physical movement.
Are there health restrictions?
Mega Bounce is not recommended for:
• Pregnant guests
• People with heart conditions
• People with neck, back, knee or joint injuries
• People with serious medical conditions
• People recovering from surgery
• Anyone with a condition that could be made worse by physical activity
• Anyone feeling unwell, dizzy or unstable
Can staff help if I struggle with an obstacle?
Yes. Event staff will be positioned around the attraction to supervise and assist where appropriate. Participants should always follow staff instructions.
Is Mega Bounce safe?
Mega Bounce is operated by trained event staff and managed through timed sessions, capacity limits, safety rules and participant supervision. All guests must follow the safety briefing and staff instructions at all times.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. A waiver will be required for all participants. This must be completed before taking part. Details will be provided during the ticket booking process or before arrival.
Can someone be refused entry?
Yes. The event team reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone for safety, operational or behavioural reasons. Anyone intoxicated, aggressive, disruptive or not following staff instructions may be refused entry or removed from the event.
8. Accessibility, Quiet Sessions and Carer Tickets
Will there be quiet sessions?
Yes. Quiet sessions will be available for guests who need a gentler environment. These sessions are designed for visitors with additional needs, SEND requirements, sensory sensitivities, neurodiversity, anxiety or anyone who may benefit from a calmer version of the Mega Bounce experience. Quiet sessions are bookable on the booking site.
Is the wider arena accessible?
The event arena aims to be as accessible as possible, but some parts of Mega Bounce involve physical activity and may not be suitable for all guests. Full accessibility information should be confirmed before tickets go on sale.

What surfaces are used around the venue?
Some areas include grass or temporary flooring. Our team will provide assistance where possible.

Are carer tickets available?
Yes. Free carer tickets will be available for registered carers or essential companions supporting a guest who requires assistance to attend or take part.
The guest will need a valid Mega Bounce ticket if they are participating in the inflatable experience. Their registered carer or essential companion can receive a free carer ticket, subject to eligibility.
Who qualifies for a free carer ticket?
A free carer ticket is intended for guests who need support from another person because of a disability, access need, medical condition, sensory need or additional support requirement.
The carer or essential companion must be attending to provide support to the guest and should be able to assist them during the visit if required.
What proof is needed for a carer ticket?
Accepted evidence may include one of the following:
• Access Card with the +1 or essential companion symbol
• Nimbus Disability confirmation
• Blue Badge
• Disability Living Allowance
• Personal Independence Payment
• Attendance Allowance
• Carer’s Allowance
• A recognised carer ID card
• A letter from a GP, consultant, local authority, school, SENCO, social worker or support organisation confirming that support is required
Does the carer go onto Mega Bounce?
If the guest needs support on the inflatable, the carer may accompany them onto Mega Bounce, subject to safety rules, age guidance and operational guidance.
If the guest only needs support in the wider arena, the carer may remain with them in the arena.
9. Food, Drink and Facilities
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No outside food or drink will be allowed, except where required for medical, baby or dietary needs. Food and drink will be available onsite.

Yes. Food and drink will be available within the event arena. The summer arena is designed as a place where visitors can stay, eat, drink, relax and enjoy the event atmosphere before and after their Mega Bounce session.
Are there toilets onsite?
Toilet facilities will be available at or near Braintree Village.
10. Weather
Is Mega Bounce indoors or outdoors?
Mega Bounce is an outdoor experience. Please dress for the weather.
What happens if it rains?
Mega Bounce can operate in light rain, subject to safety conditions. Visitors are advised to bring suitable clothing and spare clothes where appropriate.
What happens in bad weather?
In extreme weather, including high winds, storms, lightning or heavy rain, sessions may be postponed, paused or cancelled. Safety will always come first.
What happens if my session is cancelled due to weather?
If a session is cancelled by the event organiser due to unsafe weather or operational reasons, visitors will be offered either a rescheduled ticket for another available session or a refund.
11. Tickets, Refunds and Booking
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless a session is cancelled due to poor weather. No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or late arrival.

12. Rules of Participation
What are the main rules?
All participants must:
• Be aged 5 or over
• Be at least 1 metre tall
• Have a valid ticket

• Take part safely and responsibly
• Respect other guests
• Complete any required waiver before participating
What is not allowed on Mega Bounce?
The following are not allowed on the inflatable:

• Bags

• Alcohol
• Aggressive behaviour

• Climbing on restricted areas

Can I take photos?
Photos are allowed in the wider arena. For safety, photography and phone use may be restricted on the inflatable itself. Visitors should follow staff instructions.
Will I be photographed or filmed?
Yes. By attending the event, visitors agree that photography and filming may take place for promotional, marketing, press and social media purposes. Guests who do not wish to be photographed should speak to a member of the event team onsite.
13. Dogs and Assistance Animals
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed inside the event area, except for registered assistance dogs. Assistance dogs may be permitted in the wider arena, but they will not be allowed onto the inflatable attraction.
14. Behaviour and Site Rules
Can I smoke or vape onsite?
Smoking and vaping will only be permitted in designated areas, if provided. Smoking and vaping are not allowed on Mega Bounce or in queueing areas.
Can I bring alcohol?
No outside alcohol is allowed. Anyone who appears intoxicated may be refused entry to Mega Bounce.
What happens if someone behaves badly?
Anyone behaving aggressively, dangerously or inappropriately may be removed from the event without refund. The event team reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests for safety, operational or behavioural reasons.
15. Foam Parties and DJs
Will there be foam parties?
